Tonight was D'Anglo's first night of AWANA Cubbies. I walked him down the street to the church and stayed with him for a while. They played duck duck goose & red light green light before going into their classrooms. He had a good time & behaved well. His first bible truth to memorize for next week is...God is love. (1 John 4:8)

What is Awana?
Awana is an international, Bible-centered children's ministry and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training.

The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from2 Timothy 2:15.

Cubbies
The Awana club for preschoolers is built on two premises:
• Young children can and should receive spiritual training.
• Home is the primary place for spiritual training.
