Delinquent blogger here! We have been busy, sick, busy and sick. I finally took the twins to the doctor last week because Oliver was running a high fever for three consecutive days. He has a double ear infection and both X & O have RSV. The big three are recovering from bad colds but are still coughing and crabby overnight. Rick & I are both dealing with the same yucky cold and terrible sore throat as the kids. I must say that the kids have been more than amused at my loss of a voice this past week. I really hope it gets back to me soon.
My brother, sil & nephew are in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. We spent the weekend not doing much though since my kids were sick. The one event we did make it to was Thanksgiving dinner at the cousin’s house on Saturday. It is always nice to see that part of our family and we appreciate that they have included us in their celebration. The kids actually did very well while we were there. Sunday however was challenging because of the late night and disrupted sleep.
We had our Christmas pictures taken tonight and I am happy that we decided to go and try it even though they weren’t in the best of moods or health. We got a nice picture of my kiddos and my nephew to give to my parents for a Christmas gift and we also got a picture of my five for our Christmas cards this year.
It is cold and raining here tonight but I thought I’d share a few fun pictures of the kids playing outside a couple weeks ago.

Our neighbor Phil who lives behind us invited us to come trick or treating with all of the kids from his block. They have a nice street that dead ends so there isn't much traffic and it is about 3 city blocks long. Mark (another neighbor) drove the train this year so the kids were taken from one driveway to the next by the choo choo! I ran along with the twins in their stroller. Auggie who loves any train ride we have to pay for wanted no part of this train ride after the first couple stops. Daddy wound up carrying him the whole night. Adeline & D'Angelo loved it and were still enjoying the train at 6:45 when it "pulled into the station". Rick & I were both surprised at how long we were out. We only anticipated about 30 minutes with our kids... we walked out of our house at 4:15 & retuurned just before 7. I was amazed that the kids weren't more crabby since they are usually in bed at that time.

Oliver looks more like a bunny than a sheep... I should have pinned down those crazy pink ears!

We went to a Halloween playgroup today at Jill & Lucy's house. All the kids played out in the yard enjoying the warm sunny morning.

Here are a few pictures from yesterday.

We spent some time playing outside together but it was cool out there so the kids were happy to get inside and enjoy a hot meal for lunch.

I attended my first twins club state convention this past weekend. As you might gather from the picture it had a country theme and I had a great time. Friday night we had dinner, danced and socialized. On Saturday I relaxed with a massage, "window shopped" the vendor room, and enjoyed the good company of my fellow club members who attended the convention. Rick stayed home with the twins & Adeline while the big boys got spoiled at Grandma & Papa's house. They got to go to 2 pumpkin farms for pony rides, hay rides and lots of good fun.

Daddy's new trailer design

Rick had all his trucks redesigned and wrapped in photos of his work. We did not take a great picture of the trailer but it shows D'Angelo last summer 2006 up at our friend Bob's house in the pool that Rick built.

Grandma brought down the pumpkin truck!

Last week my Mom brought down all the haybales, corn stalks and pumpkins they have been growing for the kids.

The big guys played with shaving creme for a long time today. D sat at the table with his monster trucks for over 2 hours! They really enjoyed it. I had to keep reminding them to keep it away from their eyes & mouth though.
Xavier got his helmet today. He wasn't too pleased during his appointment, truth be told he screamed like mad during the fitting. It was alot for him because it is tried on and off many times during the appointment and he was making it so difficult because he was so fitful. Poor little guy. Hopefully he will do better with it over the next few days. We have a breaking in period...today he wore it 1 hour on 1 hour off and not during naps or overnight, Tuesday 2 hours on 1 hour off, Wednesday 4 hours on 1 hour off, Thursday 8 hours on 1 hour off and during naps as well as overnight, by Friday he will be wearing it 23 hours out of every 24.

Auggie not doing a good job of keeping it off his face!

Girls can play Monster Trucks too!

Okay, so this little one is adorable but is not mine. The costume however is on its way to me. I bought it on ebay last night from a really nice lady who agreed to overnight the costume to me so all my kids will be dressed for their first Halloween party of the season! The twins club I belong to One Plus One is having a Halloween party this Sunday Oct 7th and I am so happy that my kids will all have their costumes to wear!
My fab friend Ruick made Adelines Little Bo Peep costume and it is adorable! She is shipping it to me and I should have it in my hands by Friday! I'm so excited, I can't wait to see these little guys all dressed up. I know better than to believe I'll actually get a picture of them all together but I am going to try my best.
Did you know? One Plus One has:

102 moms
49 moms that also have singletons
11 sets of triplets
3 sets of multiple multiples ( 1 mom has triplets and twins)
14 moms that have 4 kids
3 moms with 5 kids - --I am one of those moms :)

Today was a great day for hanging out in our yard and letting the kids play. My Dad, Deb & Josh came over this morning for a simple brunch and spent the day with us. We celebrated my birthday today because my Dad has either been out of town or suffering from a cold the past few weeks. Deb made homemade coffee ice cream for me and it is deliciously yummy. Thanks for such an enjoyable day. Once we were back inside this evening I took a short video of Oliver who had SO much to say...until I turned the camera on!

And little Miss Adeline was going to sing her current favorite round and round akaThe Wheels On The Bus until she spied me with the camera-

Today is what we refer to as D’Angelo’s Gotcha Day. He was placed with us 3 years ago today! I can hardly believe it has been 3 years. Moments I will never forget. Days of holding, kissing, snuggling, and just watching him. God is so good- I love my baby.

I, along with my kiddos, am enjoying the cooler weather we are experiencing here. This morning we started the day by going to a play group at our friend Kate's house. Thank you Kate for hosting all of us! I love a girl who isn't afraid to have me bring my whole crew over. This afternoon we played outside in our yard until I had to come in to make dinner.

Here we are looking cute in our outfits from Auntie Jennnifer.
When she first sent these outfitsI thought they looked SO big. Amazingly enough they are now almost too small for these chuncky babies.
