We all had a fun time at the Lafin Luau! It was nice to see all the family that we haven't seen since Thanksgiving! The kids jumped in the bounce house & ate lots of goodies. Thanks to Brenna & Amanda for playing with the twins :)

Kiddie Land

We went to Kiddie Land in the 90 degree heat-which is why we only lasted 4 hours there. The kids did enjoy their time there with the exception of Adeline getting crabby 2 hours into our time there. I should have known she would wind up getting the 48 hour fever/sickness that D'Angelo had then Auggie had & even poor Oliver ran a temperature for 2 days. All in all though it was an enjoyable day & we are going to try & get back again before the season is over.

These rockets were moving so fast that I couldn't tell if Adeline enjoyed any part of this ride or if she was just scared to death. I do know she was happy when the ride ended.

I remember loving these boats when I used to go to Kiddie Land as a little girl with my Grandma

Xavier started rolling over from his back to front last week and did it a bunch of times today! Way to go XJ! Oliver did it for the first time 2 weeks ago but hasn't been doing it all that often like Xavier.

Rock County Fair

Darrell took the day off to take us to the fair. He is such a great papa to the kids! We spent the beginning of our time seeing all the animals at the fair. The kids even got to pet a couple cows. Then we had a bite to eat & played for about an hour or more in the dried corn (like a sandbox). We walked around, saw more animals and shared a funnell cake between us. The kids were getting tired but we couldn't leave the fair without getting on some rides. The kids really enjoyed themselves as did my Mom, Darrell and I.

LIPSTICK!!!

OHHH The Trouble little ones can make when they find a tube of lipstick & there isn't an adult in sight! I must have had a tube of lipstick in my jacket pocket because when I discovered these two monkeys they had a shade of lipstick that I haven't seen in a long while!

My Mom & I were only in the kitchen a couple minutes & this is what occured.

We had a nice visit with Grandapa the last couple days. We spent time visiting Aunt Doris too which was good. It had been a long time since Grandpa & his sister visited each other. Here is Grandpa & the big guys before we left to get him to the Greyhound station.

The nice thing was that Auggie & Adeline were napping so there was not a threat of having it destroyed.

I really would like to go get a picture taken of the kids together. We have not gotten one yet other than the not so great one on Easter that I took. I attempted to get the boys together while Adeline napped today.

We didn't do anything exciting today...just played in the yard and enjoyed the cooler weather.

We spent a few days the week of the 4th at my Mom's house. My Mom stayed home with the twins while we went to the parade in Sharon. There were lots of firetrucks, and more tractors than you could imagine! The boys were thrilled while Adeline spent more time playing in the puddles created from the firetrucks spraying water down on the crowd. The rest of our time was spent outside playing in the sprinkler & pool, taking golf cart rides, riding big wheels, and lots of running around.
