This is what happened when I left these two naughty monkeys to answer my phone... I was only gone for a couple minutes!

These are Adeline & Auggie's 2 year pictures that we had taken last month.

American Girl-Monday 11/26/2007

Adeline got to go to American Girl Place for her first time - mine too.
She loved every minute of her experience there. She wanted to hold all the babies, feed them and love them. She walked around collecting all kinds of stuff for her doll. Luckily for Daddy all we left with was one Bitty Baby & a stroller.
Here we are about to go across the street to get in there!

Me & My little brother

We have enjoyed the past week visiting with my brother, sil & nephew! We had a nice day Thanksgiving at our house with our family. The kids ate well & loved having everyone over. Friday was a quiet day. No Black Friday deals for me...my Dad & sil were out early though. On Saturday my brother and sil surprised me with tickets to see Jersey Boys. They told me at 4pm that I needed to be ready to leave my house at 6:30 to get downtown. Easy to do if you aren't at home with 5 littles! They were here with me but still...if I am home my kids wanna be under my feet and in my pocket! I was successful in getting my act together though. The fun thing was that my Dad & Deb went as well. It was a fantastic performance & I have already told my Mom I am taking her to see it as soon as she is feeling better.

Delinquent blogger here! We have been busy, sick, busy and sick. I finally took the twins to the doctor last week because Oliver was running a high fever for three consecutive days. He has a double ear infection and both X & O have RSV. The big three are recovering from bad colds but are still coughing and crabby overnight. Rick & I are both dealing with the same yucky cold and terrible sore throat as the kids. I must say that the kids have been more than amused at my loss of a voice this past week. I really hope it gets back to me soon.
My brother, sil & nephew are in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. We spent the weekend not doing much though since my kids were sick. The one event we did make it to was Thanksgiving dinner at the cousin’s house on Saturday. It is always nice to see that part of our family and we appreciate that they have included us in their celebration. The kids actually did very well while we were there. Sunday however was challenging because of the late night and disrupted sleep.
We had our Christmas pictures taken tonight and I am happy that we decided to go and try it even though they weren’t in the best of moods or health. We got a nice picture of my kiddos and my nephew to give to my parents for a Christmas gift and we also got a picture of my five for our Christmas cards this year.
It is cold and raining here tonight but I thought I’d share a few fun pictures of the kids playing outside a couple weeks ago.

Our neighbor Phil who lives behind us invited us to come trick or treating with all of the kids from his block. They have a nice street that dead ends so there isn't much traffic and it is about 3 city blocks long. Mark (another neighbor) drove the train this year so the kids were taken from one driveway to the next by the choo choo! I ran along with the twins in their stroller. Auggie who loves any train ride we have to pay for wanted no part of this train ride after the first couple stops. Daddy wound up carrying him the whole night. Adeline & D'Angelo loved it and were still enjoying the train at 6:45 when it "pulled into the station". Rick & I were both surprised at how long we were out. We only anticipated about 30 minutes with our kids... we walked out of our house at 4:15 & retuurned just before 7. I was amazed that the kids weren't more crabby since they are usually in bed at that time.

Oliver looks more like a bunny than a sheep... I should have pinned down those crazy pink ears!

We went to a Halloween playgroup today at Jill & Lucy's house. All the kids played out in the yard enjoying the warm sunny morning.

Here are a few pictures from yesterday.

We spent some time playing outside together but it was cool out there so the kids were happy to get inside and enjoy a hot meal for lunch.

Clean, Happy kids
